Windrush mosaic mural unveiled by Mayor.

I was lucky enough to be recently commissioned by the Executive Headteacher Gerry Robinson, at Haringey Learning Partnership, to create a mosaic mural to celebrate Windrush day. I worked with my business partner Donna Reeves and staff and students at the school. It was an amazing creative process and we are all thrilled with the results. It was unveiled on Windrush Day by the Haringey mayor Adam Jogee.
Donna and I are both very experienced art teachers and professional mosaic artists and we’ve worked together for 18 years and during that time, we have completed over 50 creative projects in North London. I have known Gerry for years and she previously commissioned me to create a paper mosaic for Green Week at Regent High School. It was a portrait of Sir Mo Farah to celebrate the London Olympics in 2012. It was created with 8 Somalian students, who were so proud of it. We sent some images to Mo and he loved it!

Please forward this to anyone who maybe interested. if you or anyone you know is interested in a commission, please pass on my details.
