It’s pretty obvious I’m a huge fan of Amy Winehouse by the number of mosaics I’ve done of her. Please take a look at them I was heartbroken when I heard the news of her very sad passing away. I went to pay my respects by leaving some flowers opposite her house and a print of one of my mosaics.
I was lucky enough to meet her back in November. She was absolutely charming and loved the mosaics. I was in the process of giving one to her and having a photo of the two of us with it. Sadly, this never came to fruition. I’m currently deciding whether to still give one to her Management Company or to her father Mitch as a donation to the rehab centre he’s wanting to set up in her name. I’m also hoping to exhibit them at The Hawley Arms, Amy’s local and one of my favouite pubs.
